11"x14" Giclee Canvas Print 

“Blue Shutters” has been re-printed on a 11” x 14” canvas from the 1st edition painting by American contemporary painter Douglas K. Gifford. Island Trader uses the popular Giclee (pr: gee-clay) process to create all of its original artwork prints, with permission from the artist. Giclee printing involves taking a hi-res scan from a digitized photograph of the original artwork. As close to the “real thing” as possible in the digital age, the Giclee printing process involves spraying microscopically small dots of archival quality inks onto archival paper or canvas using a large format printer. Every print of a Giclee edition is as high quality as the last.
